Setting up scan restrictions

Did you know you can prevent customers from scanning their Goody Card, if your business is closed or operates during unusual hours?

How to stop scans after hours: 

This features means that if a customer tries to earn points when they scan after hours, a staff member will need to authorise this scan transaction.

To set this up: 

1. Log in to the merchant centre

2. Hover over 'Settings' then click 'Device Restrictions'

3. Go to the drop-down and select 'Other' under 'Scan Authorisation'. You can now customize your scan restrictions.

Scan cooldown:

You may way to give points to customers only once every few minutes or hours. 

To set this up: 

1. Log in to the merchant centre

2. Hover over 'Settings' then click 'Device Restrictions'

3. Go to the drop-down and select your time limit under 'Scan cooldown'
